According to a meeting notice sent out by the University of South Carolina board of trustees, the board will go into an emergency meeting tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. regarding a contractual matter with the athletics department.

The only prominent vacant spot in the athletics department belongs to men's basketball. The head coaching position was left open after former USC coach Dave Odom announced his retirement in late January. Local media outlets have speculated that USC is chasing after Western Kentucky coach Darrin Horn.

Horn has lead the Hilltoppers for five seasons and could be considered their best coach of all time. During Horn's tenure WKU amassed a record of 111-48. The Hilltoppers also reached 20 wins in four consecutive seasons for the first time ever under Horn's instruction.
