Jennifer Guest, third-year mathematics student from Gaffney, S.C.

Jennifer has previously served in the student senate as chair of the Athletics Committee and member of the Rules Committee. She has served as the Pride Group Leader of Alpha Delta Pi. She is also a member of SC Teaching Fellows and Cohort Rep in 2003.

Jennifer is running because she wants to serve students both and off campus, and to reflect the needs of students on state and national levels. She is also running because she loves the Gamecocks.

If elected, Jennifer plans to; -expand Carolina Card options -improve service available to student organizations concerning budgets -look for ways to draw in additional funding for graduate programs -improve efficiency and eco-friendliness of the bus system.

Brad Setzler, first-year philosophy student from Newberry, S.C.

Brad has previously served as vice president for community service of Alpha Lambda Delta, legislative director of the SC State Student Association, chartering chair of the Circle K Service Organization, and Freshman Coucil.

Brad is running for treasurer to ensure that all student organizations are allotted the funding they deserve.

If elected, Brad plans to -expand the shuttle system -increase parking -implement an academic adviser training and evaluation program -work with legislators to reduce textbook prices.

Steve Smith, second-year math student from Granby, Conn.

Steve served as RHA National Communications Coordinator and Horseshoe President.

Steve is running for treasurer because he wants to help the students save money. If elected, Smith plans to; -build a non-profit, Student Government endorsed website to buy and sell used textbooks -use a portion of the student activity fee for the student judicial board -prevent any student fee from increasing.
