Ryan Holt, third-year political science student from Irmo, S.C. and Austin, Texas

Ryan has previously served as student body vice president, a student senator and a freshman council member.

Ryan is running for re-election to continue the record he has set this past year with Justin Williams and Tommy Preston.

If re-elected, Ryan plans to: -work for a grade forgiveness program -increase the 16 credit hour limit -extend CarolinaCard use off-campus -put a banking system in the Russell House -push for a voting student member on the Board of Trustees.

Ryan's strategy for his election campaign is to meet as many students as possible and remind them of what he's accomplished this year and inform them of what he will be able to accomplish in the future.

Josh Goodman, third-year economics student from Charlotte, N.C.

Josh has previously served as pledge educator, vice president and rush chairman of Delta Upsilon.

Josh is running for vice president because he wants to make the school better for all of the students, not just the ones who are involved in groups.

If elected, Josh plans to get in touch with the students, and find out what they want changed about the school instead of waiting for them to come to him.

Josh's strategy for getting elected is to meet people, get to know them and so that they can put a face with his name.

Sonam Shah, third-year biology student from Greer, S.C.

Sonam has previously served on Freshman Council as Ad Hoc Committee Chair. She has also served a student senator and a Powers and Responsibilities Committee member.

Sonam is running for vice president because she has always enjoyed being a part of Student Government and being a part of the accomplishments. She would like to make student government more accessible for the entire student population.

If elected, Sonam plans to: -address academic issues, such as an online syllabi and teacher evaluation websites -increase the credit-hour limit- implement a campus-wide downloading software -allow students to voice their concerns to student government to reach administration.

Sonam's strategy is to do her best to get her message out to the student body that she is the best candidate to represent and work for them as vice president.
