Police say a man delivering pizzas near campus was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning.
The robbery happened on the 800 block of Barnwell Street, which is between Capstone House and Greene Street, around 1 a.m. Saturday.
Police patrolled the area afterwards and decided that the robber, who is described as a black man wearing a black hoodie and dark pants, was not in the area. The robber’s height and weight aren’t known.
He was last seen heading toward Five Points. No one was hurt in the robbery.
The incident punctuates an otherwise quiet year for crime around campus. The USC Division of Law Enforcement and Safety hasn’t posted an alert about an armed robbery since February 2013, when there were two such incidents.
