Ticket prices set for the South Carolina-North Carolina season opener

Tickets are now on sale for the 2015 football seasons first game. South Carolina opens its season against University of North Carolina at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, and the game is set to be played on the Carolina Panthers home turf — Bank of America Stadium — in Charlotte, North Carolina. ESPN will televise the event.

Last time the two teams met back in 2013, the No. 6 Gamecocks won handily by a score of 27-10 at Williams-Brice Stadium. Connor Shaw threw for 149 yards and a touchdown while Mike Davis lead the ground attack with 115 total yards and a touchdown. The defense stifled any Tar Heel offense, allowing only 293 total yards.

This year, the Gamecocks will be lead by Phil Steeles appointed preseason first-team All-SEC and preseason third-team All-American junior wide receiver Pharaoh Cooper. Redshirt senior offensive tackle Brandon Snell and junior linebacker Skai Moore also received preseason All-SEC honors at third and fourth team, respectively. North Carolinas senior offensive guard Landon Turner made first-team honors.

Tickets are priced at $76 for upper deck, $102 for lower deck and $257.50 for club level. The deadline to request tickets is July 10.
