Arrests made in Lexington County shooting

An Irmo man is facing two counts of attempted murder as well as two other criminal charges over a Monday shooting, The State reports. Two female victims, both of whom are expected to recover, were shot late Monday at Boardwalk Villas in Lexington County. The suspect, Tashonby Pedrick Wilson, was denied bond Tuesday and is currently being held at the Lexington County Detention Center.

Missing elderly dementia patient found in Sumter

An elderly man with dementia who went missing was found, WIS reports. The man, 75-year-old Leroy Wilder, had been missing since late Monday when he wandered away from the Carriage House. Sumter Police found him unharmed around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Suspect arrested in liquor store robberies

One man was arrested and more arrests may follow in connection with a series of robberies in the Midlands, WLTX reports. Cedric Reddick faces five counts of second-degree burglary as well as three counts of grand larceny and petit larceny. Officials believe he and an accomplice stole more than $13,000 worth of alcohol from seven stores in Columbia and Richland and Lexington counties.
