South Carolina will be without their senior leader against Florida International.
Sindarius Thornwell has been suspended indefinitely for violating athletic department policy, head coach Frank Martin announced Sunday.
Thornwell will still be with the team moving forward. He was on the floor during warm ups on Sunday, but was not participating.
He's leading the team in almost all categories, including rebounds, points and assists with 6.7, 18.7 and 4.1 per game, respectively.
