Trustus Theatre co-founder dies at 75

The co-founder of the popular Trustus Theatre, Jim Thigpen, passed away Tuesday at the age of 75. A celebration of the popular member of the Columbia theater community's life is scheduled for Thursday at 5 p.m. at Trustus, The State reports. In addition to his work at the theater he co-founded with his wife, Thigpen was also a long-time theater instructor at local high schools.
