Q: If you weren’t a professor, what would you be doing?
A: Raising tropical aquarium fish in Tonga or Fiji. Seriously, I would probably spend more time running my own firm.
Q: Where are you originally from?
A: Massachusetts. I was born in the car on the way to the hospital.
Q: What is your favorite place to go in Columbia?
A: I love the riverwalk though I don’t go there often enough. I like canoeing with my 11-year-old son in a big lake in our subdivision. I enjoy driving over the dam and spending time on a boat in Lake Murray.
Q: Name three things that you can’t live without.
A: My kids, my wife, a fishing rod.
Q: If you could be friends with one person, who would it be and why?
A: I find Glenn Beck a fascinating personality. I would be interested in knowing him better.
