Larceny of Bicycles, 7:30 a.m.
1323 Greene St.
Someone stole a purple Raleigh Mountain bike from the rack next to Preston College. The bike was secured by a cable lock which was also stolen. The bike was valued at $175 and the cable lock at $10. The bike was later recovered by officer Bill Jones and the suspect was apprehended at the intersection of Wheat and Sumter streets.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 5
Traffic/Possession of more than one driver’s license, 2:26 a.m.
1405 Whaley St.
Police went to Bates West in reference to suspicious persons leaving the building. The 18-year-old male suspect said he was visiting his girlfriend, but was found to have two driver’s licenses.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 4
Simple Possession of marijuana, 12 a.m.
1417 Whaley St.
A police went to Bates West and met with a ninth-floor RM who conducted a health and safety check of room 902. The suspect admitted to smoking marijuana and volunteered to reveal a metal grinder, a homemade coke bottle pipe and a small amount of a green leafy substance that appeared to be marijuana.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 2
Larceny/Breaking into a motor vehicle, 4:40 p.m.
Horseshoe 902 Sumter Access
The victim’s car was parked at the rear of the Mcutchen House, when a suspect took two prescription drugs from his vehicle. When the victim approached the vehicle he noticed the dome lights were on and realized two prescription drugs were missing valued at $20, along with two Led Zeppelin CDs valued at $20 and $11. Both prescriptions were non-narcotics.

Larceny/Breaking into a motor vehicle, 7:15 p.m.
611 Bull St.
Someone removed a black truck bed liner while the victim’s car was parked in Bull Street Garage on level 5E. The liner was valued at $200. Images were taken for evidence.
