Down a goal, the No. 15 USC women's soccer team shook off their late season struggles, rallying for a dramatic 3-2 victory over Georgia Wednesday night in the first round of the SEC Tournament in Orange Beach, Ala.

Trailing the Bulldogs 2-1 with just ten minutes left in regulation, USC was able to strike the back of the net twice. The equalizer came in the 80th minute, when sophomore forward Kayla Grimsley notched her 11th goal on the year.

Eight minutes later, Grimsley fed midfielder Kortney Rhoades for the game-winner, which was Rhoades' third in 2009.

UGA didn't go away quietly though, getting two shots on goal in the final minute, but redshirt junior goalkeeper Mollie Patton was able to secure the win for Carolina.

The Gamecocks will next face the tournament's top seed, Florida, on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. The Gators defeated USC 3-0 last Sunday.
