Addition by subtraction for the Gamecock guards

South Carolina is returning a two headed monster of a frontcourt that is A’ja Wilson and Alaina Coates, but Dawn Staley and the Gamecock coaching staff added two guards to this year’s team that might make up South Carolina’s best women’s basketball team yet.

Column: Bentley should stay on bench

Following a 2-4 start to the season and a loss to Georgia in which the Gamecock offense looked as if they had never heard of a forward pass before, there has been much speculation that third string quarterback Jake Bentley will appear in, if not start, Saturday’s game against UMass. He should not.

Turner ready to prove himself

A.J. Turner won the starting running back job from David Williams in fall camp, and he'll see his first significant action since he was a junior in high school in 2013.
