USC's New Sounds Quartet Concert is set to take place on Friday. The concert will feature four USC graduate students who have worked all semester towards this concert. The quartet is made up of two violinists, a violist and a cellist.

The Tapp's building originally opened in 1940 as a department store, which closed down in 1995. The building was then transitioned into an art center in 2011, still under the name of Tapp's, but has once again closed its doors due to a lack of funding.

While it has not been a long time since many USC students were in high school, it can often feel like a distant memory. USC's presentation of "I and You" takes the audience back to high school with the story of a girl named Caroline, who is sick and homebound, and a boy named Anthony, who comes over to work on a class project with her.

The original play "ReformED," based on the real data, statistics and interviews of teachers around the U.S., is hoping to continue the conversation about education reform after over 10,000 teachers and supporters marched to the South Carolina Statehouse May 1.

As Homecoming week comes to a close, there are still a few events left to attend. Friday, the Homecoming committee will host Carolina's Got Talent, which will present different talents and performances from USC students and organizations.

Many people think of printing as the kind done by click of a button on the computer, but the artistic design of printmaking is very different. Printmaking is the process of transferring an image from a template to a surface. USC's own printmaking club, Ink and Paper, is open to all students.

While it is common to read Shakespeare at some point in school, students don't often see his work adapted through a modern lens. USC theater is shaking up the Shakespearean comedy "Much Ado About Nothing" in order to appeal to a 21st century audience.

As a freshman, Andre Calderon struggled to make friends. He was born and raised in Cancún, Mexico and decided to come to the United States to attend college at USC, but said he didn't feel at home in South Carolina right away.

When one hears the name C.S. Lewis, the first thing that usually comes to mind is "The Chronicles of Narnia." Although Lewis was the creator of many works of literature, this live production goes beyond the pages and into Lewis' personal story.

Revolving around the familial issues of men, the stage play “Confessions of a Good Man” includes several families who are all going through different life events. There are many secrets and problems that characters are trying to hide, which causes tension in the families.

The Greek Festival in Columbia brings in people from all over the community to celebrate Greek culture. The festival has taken place at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral for 33 years and continues to grow every year.
