Spring has sprung and warmer weather is here to stay. Naturally, most students want to get a head start on their beach bodies. While many are hitting the cardio floor at the Strom, others can be found littering every open patch of grass on campus attempting to tan.

In Friday’s paper, we encouraged students to take advantage of their rights to protest and peaceably assemble. We called on students to speak out against policies that adversely impact our lives as students at a public university — tuition increases and state budget cuts. Our plea apparently fell on deaf ears.
