USC confirmed the speaker to The Daily Gamecock late Thursday afternoon, saying Sotomayor will speak during Friday afternoon's 3 p.m. ceremony inside the Colonial Life Arena. Students from Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business, College of Mass Communications and Information Studies, College of Nursing, S.C. College of Pharmacy and Arnold School of Public Health will receive degrees in that ceremony, according to USC.
