In less than a month, hundreds of students and community members will be overtaking Blatt Field to celebrate the university’s 13th year with Relay for Life. But for one grad student, that very battle for life started many years ago.
Every spring, millions of people, including USC students, fundraise money for the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life. For Taylor Boucher, a third-year athletic training student, the event is deeply important.
The moment that Stephen Bandstra first laid eyes on Mahalia VanDeBerghe in their wedding planning class, Bandstra knew that it was love. And now, after both having recently graduated from USC, their wedding day is becoming a reality with the help of USC’s HTRM 362 Wedding Planning and Management class.
