Haley Dreis, a fourth-year music student and popular Columbia singer/songwriter, will release the music video for her song “Where My Heart Is” today as a part of her senior thesis for the South Carolina Honors College.
Dreis incorporated puppies from local nonprofit and no-kill shelter, PETS Inc., in an effort to raise money for the organization. She plans to donate $1,000 to the shelter when the video reaches 10,000 views, and she encourages fans to watch and share the video with friends. The song featured in the video is from Dreis’ sophomore EP, “Taking Time,” which will be released on iTunes March 15.
