South Carolina recently added linebacker T.J. Brunson to their growing recruiting class. Brunson is a local product from Richland Northeast High School in Columbia.
This past summer and fall, Brunson was signed with Louisville but elected to re-open his commitment when Will Muschamp was hired. He announced his signing with South Carolina on Jan. 18 before officially joining the class Feb. 3.
Brunson is listed at 6-foot-0 and 220 pounds. In high school, he played inside linebacker. Per ESPN's recruiting rankings, he is regarded as a three-star recruit and as the No. 40 player at his position.
