The sequel to the popular western third-person shooter "Red Dead Redemption" will be titled "Red Dead Redemption 2" and will be released in fall 2017 according to an announcement from developer Rockstar.
According to a post on Rockstar's Newswire website, the game will be released on PS4 and Xbox One.
The post says, "An epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland, the game's vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience."
A trailer for the game will be released on Thursday at 11 a.m. EST on Rockstar's website as well as their YouTube and Twitch channels.
