USC's chief financial officer Leslie Brunelli is moving to the University of Denver to become their senior vice chancellor for finance and treasurer.

Brunelli has served as CFO and the vice president for finance at USC since 2014 and her husband, John Brunelli, serves as public relations specialist. He will also be leaving USC to relocate to Denver with his wife early this summer.

According to the University of Denver, Brunelli's predecessor served for 35 years before retiring. Her primary role will be strategically coordinating the financial plan for the university.

"As a key member of my senior staff, she will work closely with leadership to develop operational policies and deliver the resources, services and facilities necessary for the continued advancement of the University," said Rebecca Chop, DU's chancellor, in a letter.
