Cocktails: The Long Island iced tea

Once upon a time, someone thought, "What if I put as many different clear liquors into one drink as I can?" Thus, in 1972, the Long Island iced tea was born.

This drink is many things, including boozy, dangerously tasty and refreshing —  and it somehow tastes liked iced tea.

Ingredients:

1/2 ounce of orange liqueur

1/2 ounce of tequila

1/2 ounce of gin

1/2 ounce of vodka

1/2 ounce of rum

3/4 ounce lemon juice

1/4 ounce simple syrup

Bottle or can of Coca-Cola

Instructions:

Add the orange liqueur, tequila, gin, vodka, rum, lemon juice and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker and shake.

Pour onto fresh ice and top it off with Coca-Cola.

Garnish with a lemon wedge.
