State Fair Photo Contest

Contest Rules

The contest will take place from Oct. 9 to Oct. 20 at midnight.

You must be a USC student, faculty or staff member to participate, and you must follow us on our Instagram, @dailygamecock, and Twitter, @thegamecock.

In order to enter, post your photo on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #TDGphotowalk2019 and tag @dailygamecock (Instagram) or @thegamecock (Twitter).

You can submit up to three photos.

The winner will be determined by The Daily Gamecock's photo team and will be announced on Oct. 25.

Photo Walk

In order to help you with this contest, The Daily Gamecock's photo editors will lead a photo walk at the State Fair on free college night on Oct. 14 starting at 5:30 p.m. near the rocket.

The photo editors will be there to help people take photos and teach tips and tricks. You can stay as long as you like and bring friends!

Prize

The winner will be featured in The Daily Gamecock's Oct. 28 print edition of the newspaper and receive a shoutout on our social media platforms.

The winner will also receive a $100 gift card to The Corner Blend.
