Women's basketball faced Jacksonville University in the first round of the 2016 NCAAW Tournament on Friday, March 18. Final score: South Carolina 77, Jacksonville 41. Gamecocks will play Kansas State at CLA at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 20.
The men's basketball team redeemed itself Tuesday night with an 88 to 66 win against High Point University.
Men's basketball faced Georgia Bulldogs in the first round of the SEC Tournament. The final score was Georgia 65, Gamecocks 64.
