How the rest of the SEC, plus Clemson, fared this weekend
Gators retain control of the poll
1. TennesseeThe Lady Vols are continuing their tradition of dominance under Pat Summit this season as they have a perfect 10-0 record in the SEC and are ranked as the fourth best team in the nation. With their most recent win coming over a ranked Kentucky team, nothing appears to be stopping Tennessee from sweeping the SEC and scoring a high seed in the NCAA Tournament. — Isabelle Khurshudyan
1. Florida (Up 2)The Gators (18-5, 7-2) cemented their status as the conference's team to beat when they upset Kentucky on Saturday night after beating Vanderbilt in overtime earlier in the week. By hitting free throws and playing good defense when it counted, they were able to withstand a late rally from the Wildcats. No. 17 Florida will travel to USC this week before hosting Tennessee with a chance to widen its lead in the SEC East. — Paulina Berkovich
Kentucky ascends to No. 1
1. Tennessee (No Change): As long as Tennessee (19-2, 7-0) keeps the zero in the SEC loss column, it’ll continue to remain atop the standings. The Lady Volunteers’ most recent loss was over a month ago at Baylor, and since then, only LSU has come within single digits. With Mississippi State and Arkansas upcoming, Tennessee is unlikely to lose its place at the top. – Isabelle Khurshudyan
Florida ascends to top spot
1. Georgia (No Change)The Bulldogs suffered the proverbial big game hangover after the upset of Kentucky when they fell to Vanderbilt last week. Fortunately for Georgia (13-3, 2-1), the SEC East is wide open, so they've been able to remain atop the standings after rebounding at Ole Miss. The Bulldogs have three consecutive home games coming up to widen the gap between them and the field. — Isabelle Khurshudyan
