The 2017 Student Government election process began this week when those wishing to run filed for candidacy Jan. 17-18. There are three executive positions available — president, vice president and treasurer — as well as 50 senate seats.
There will be a mandatory candidate meeting Jan. 31 and an executive candidate debate Feb. 7. The student body will cast their votes Feb. 14-15, and the winners will be inaugurated March 15.
