South Carolina's 2017 men's basketball signing class was finalized Wednesday, and Frank Martin will bring six new players to Columbia, five freshmen and a graduate transfer.

Get up to speed on the Gamecocks' six newest players.

David Beatty

Beatty is a 6-foot-4 guard who Martin says plays "much bigger than his frame." A four-star recruit from Philadelphia, Beatty was nominated for the McDonalds All-American team, and Martin expects his scoring to translate at the college level.

Frank Booker

Booker, the lone graduate transfer in this class, played two seasons at Oklahoma before spending last year with Florida Atlantic, where he averaged 5.7 points per game. A member of Oklahoma's Sweet 16 team as a sophomore, Booker is expected to bring experience to a young Gamecocks team. The 6-foot-4 guard is a threat from the three-point line and converted over 82 percent of his free throws in each of his last two seasons.

Jason Cudd

This class has plenty of frontcourt players, but none bigger than the 7-foot Cudd, who Martin says is the biggest player he's ever recruited. Cudd, a three-star recruit from Myrtle Beach, averaged 18.7 points and 7.6 rebounds per game as a senior, and Martin commends his shooting ability and low post presence.

Ibrahim Doumbia

Doumbia is regarded for his explosive dunks and blocked shots, but Martin praises his jumpshot as well. A four-star recruit, Doumbia averaged 27 points, 19 rebounds and four blocks per game as a senior at Miami Country Day School. The 6-foot-8 forward represented his home country of Mali at the FIBA Africa U-18 Championships in 2016.

Felipe Hasse

Another forward from Miami, Hasse averaged 19.3 points, 12.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game while leading his team to the state championship as a senior. Martin says the 6-foot-9 forward has incredible skill, particularly on the offensive end, but he'll have to adjust to the physical nature of major conference college basketball.

Justin Minaya

Minaya, a 6-foot-7 forward, also averaged a double-double as a senior, recording 19.5 points and 11.3 rebounds per game last season at his New Jersey high school. Martin praises him for his "mind for the game" and says Minaya has worked as a point guard before, but that his natural fit is on the wing.

Note: With six incoming players and Delaware transfer Kory Holden becoming eligible, South Carolina has parted ways with forward Ran Tut to stay under the scholarship limit.
