After canceling a concert scheduled for last year, critically acclaimed hip-hop artist Drake will return to Columbia on Feb. 21, and tickets are on sale this week.
A limited quantity of discounted tickets for students, faculty and staff with a valid CarolinaCard will go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Colonial Life Arena box office, according to a press release.
Those tickets are $10 off normal ticket prices of $69.75, $49.75 and $29.75, according to the box office website.
Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at the box office, Play It Again Sports in Columbia, over the phone and online at www.coloniallifearena.com.
The concert is a stop on Drake’s “Club Paradise Tour,” following last year’s release of his album “Take Care.”
Rappers Kendrick Lamar of California and A$AP Rocky of New York are opening the show, according to the release.
