Interest meeting for candidates today
Student Government kicks off the election season today with a meeting for all students interested in running for a student senate or executive position.
The meeting is not required to run but will serve as an information session for potential candidates.
Filing for candidacy will take place Tuesday, Jan. 22, and Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Campus Life Center.
Campaigning is set to begin Jan. 31, right after mandatory candidate meetings for senate and executive positions. After that, candidates will have less than three weeks to win over the student body. Voting will take place on VIP on Feb. 19 and 20.
