Students, faculty and staff were evacuated from the Horizon I building on Main Street Tuesday afternoon for a suspected gas leak, but it was a false alarm, according to Capt. Eric Grabski, spokesman for USC Division of Law Enforcement and Safety.
He said a test done by a hazardous materials team came back clear, but not before a firetruck and several police cars were sent to the scene.
