Crime Blotter for March 1 to March 14

— While on patrol, an officer saw two women squatting behind a car, both with their pants around their ankles. The ground below the women was wet with what the officer assumed was urine and both appeared to be drunk. One woman told the officer she did not have a drivers license and resisted and pulled away from the officer when he tried to put her in handcuffs. She was cited for providing false information to police and resisting arrest. Both women were cited for disorderly conduct.

— An officer was dispatched to The Roost in response to a fight between two roommates. When the officer arrived, the roommate in the room was “highly emotional, angry and distraught” and had various marks and abrasions on her face hands and head, according to the police report. She said the two were fighting and things turned physical when she shoved the other and the other pushed back, prompting her to bite the other. Both roommates declined to be taken to the hospital. The first roommate was taken into custody for assault.

— An officer arrived at Bates House in response to a fake ID that was used to check someone in to the building. When the officer went to the room, he found four men and smelled marijuana. The officer searched the apartment and found a one liter bottle of whiskey and a glass bong, both of which one of the students living there claimed ownership of. In another room in the apartment, the officer found a grinder, four glass jars that smelled like marijuana, three empty prescription bottles that smelled like marijuana and a glass bong. The student living in that room said it all belonged to him.
