Urban Outfitters offering music party
Urban Outfitters at 912 Gervais in the Vista is having a shindig this Thursday starting at 6:00pm. The clothing store will be hosting an event featuring live music by Octopus Jones, Daniel Y El Leon, and Muscle Memory. Discounted clothing prices will be available to Students with college IDs.
Free beer will also be available; courtesy of Conquest Brewing Co, a local brewery located south of Williams-Brice Stadium.
The event is part of a series of monthly events that are supposed to bring locals into the new midlands hip clothing and home goods store.
“We (Urban Outfitters) have events to just get people in the community together and to have fun while everyone shops,” Said Jessica Brooks, Women’s Department Manager at Urban Outfitters.
Urban Outfitters plans to have monthly events. Next month the retail outlet will be hosting a tie-dye event with a DJ. The May event is still in the works.
The event will attract new customers to the only branch of Urban Outfitters in Columbia, the only location in the Midlands.
