Graduation commencement speakers announced

USC's spring 2016 graduation ceremony will feature the senior vice president of government operations for Boeing Co., a former president of the American Bar Association and the CEO of Fluor Corp. as commencement speakers.

Boeing's Timothy Keating will address the graduates from the Honors College and the College of Arts and Sciences at 9:30 a.m. on May 7. He will also be receiving an honorary doctoral degree in business administration.

William Hubbard served as president of the ABA from 2014-2015 and has been a member of USC's Board of Trustees since 1986. He will deliver his address at 3 p.m. on May 6 to graduates of the Darla Moore School of Business, the Arnold School of Public Health and the colleges of Nursing, Pharmacy and Mass Communications and Information Studies. Hubbard earned his undergraduate and law degrees from USC.

Fluor's David Seaton will deliver his address at 3 p.m. on May 7 to graduates of the colleges of Education; Engineering and Computing; Hospitality, Retail and Sports Management; and Social Work, as well as the Fort Jackson Military Base program, interdisciplinary programs and Palmetto College. Seaton graduated from USC in 1984.
