Lexington County councilman charged with property damage day after his wedding

A Lexington County councilman was charged with malicious injury to personal property for damaging a family members property the day after his wedding, The State reports.  According to his wife, the 35-year-old newlywed Phillip Heyward Yarborough Jr. has a drinking problem and threw a rock at her father's truck. Yarborough said Monday he plans on checking himself into a treatment program as soon as Tuesday. 

Man charged in accidental shooting, death of his daughter

A father faces charges of involuntary manslaughter and abuse after accidentally shooting himself and his two daughters while cleaning his gun, WIS reports.  According to deputies, 30-year-old Dominique Miller was cleaning his handgun when he shot himself in the hand and his daughters in the upper body. One of the daughters was killed.

More bodies found in connection with Kohlhepp

Investigators uncovered a third body on the 95-acre Woodruff property where Todd Kohlhepp was arrested earlier this week for kidnapping a woman and keeping her chained in a container, WLTX reports. According to WYFF Greenville, Kohlhepp also confessed to the murder of four people at a Spartanburg County motorcycle shop in 2003. The investigation and search for more bodies continues and has moved beyond South Carolina, according to a Spartanburg county sheriff.
