Students, faculty, alumni hold rallies, march in protest of board of trustees vote, react following the board's announcement

A rally protesting the board of trustees upcoming vote on Friday was held on Wednesday on the Russell House patio. City leaders, alumni, students and faculty spoke out against Gov. Henry McMaster's involvement in the decision of USC's next president. On Friday, students and faculty marched from Russell House to the Alumni Center for the Board's decision. Bob Caslen was chosen to serve as the 29th president of the university.
