Studio owner Meredith Trout grabs an information sheet from the front desk of BEATS Barre Studio on Nov. 8, 2023. Trout founded BEATS in 2018, teaching out of her home studio in Lexington, North Carolina, and later moving to Columbia, South Carolina, in 2022 to continue giving personal lessons from home before she opened up her studio on Gervais Street in September 2023.
