The University of South Carolina's latest residential development, Campus Village, opened on Aug. 18. The largest building project in the university's 222-year existence, the development's construction started in May 2019 and cost $240 million to build. Campus Village is made up of four modern buildings housing 1,800 total students, as well as commercial, retail and educational amenities.
