A scan of the cover of Vol. 4, No. 1 of the Carolina Spectator's September 1995 issue. The Carolina Spectator was a conservative newspaper at USC run by Vernon C. Davenport in the 90s. Its last issue was published in March 1996 (Vol. 4, No. 3) before the title of the periodical changed to The Back Forty Review, having its last volume published in December 1996.
