The South Carolina baseball team carried offensive momentum throughout the weekend to the series finale, but it wasn't enough to get the job done as No. 4 Ole Miss won in the tenth inning, 6-5. Despite falling on Sunday, the Gamecocks got the wins on Friday and Saturday to take the series.

The South Carolina bats continued to light up on Saturday afternoon as the Gamecocks defeated No. 4 Ole Miss 11-6 to clinch the series. With the win, South Carolinas has won its third straight SEC series since 2012.

The women's golf team came up just short of a title as they fell in the championship round to Arkansas on Sunday. The Gamecocks entered the tournament as the No. 1 seed and dominated during the first few rounds of competition. Taking on No. 3 seed Arkansas, the Razorbacks got out to a quick start on Sunday to as junior Maria Fassi got the 2&1 win over South Carolina sophomore Anita Uwadia.

Another first for A'ja Wilson happened Thursday night as the Las Vegas Aces selected Wilson with the first overall pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft. Just four years ago, Wilson was the No. 1 women's basketball recruit to start her college career, and now she's the No. 1 pick to start her professional career.

The No. 5 South Carolina women's tennis team had a lot on the line going into Saturday morning's match against No. 12 Florida. The Gamecocks did everything they could but a six-hour rain delay killed all momentum, and they dropped their first SEC and home match of the season.

As time began to trickle down and UConn's lead continued to grow on Monday night, A'ja Wilson finally saw her South Carolina career come to an end. With just over three minutes left and the Gamecocks down by 31, head coach Dawn Staley took her star senior out for one final time, and although they were in Albany, New York, Wilson got one last ovation for her time in garnet and black. While she sat on the bench with a towel over her face to hide her tears, it really hit Wilson that her collegiate career was over.

The South Carolina baseball team entered Tuesday's contest against Davidson on a five-game losing streak and did not have Noah Campbell, TJ Hopkins and Madison Stokes because of injuries. Despite all of the challenges and a very different lineup, the Gamecocks were able to hold on to a late one-run lead and get the 5-4 win.

Once again, the South Carolina women's basketball team was unable to stop the powerhouse of UConn. But this time, the loss would end the Gamecocks' season as the Huskies got the 94-65 win on Monday night. The defending national champions fell in the Elite Eight, allowing UConn to advance to the Final Four and try to take back the National Championship title.
