"The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical" is a raunchy comedy that combines the Christmas season with Florida trailer park culture. The musical opened on Friday, Nov. 20 and is playing at Trustus Theatre until Dec. 19.

Released as a symbol of gratitude to their fans, the Foo Fighters' "Saint Cecilia" EP was dedicated to the terrorist attacks in Paris. Lead singer and rhythm guitarist Dave Grohl stressed that the EP serves as a message that music will give light to combat darkness in the world. Grohl hopes the EP reminds people that "music is life, and that hope and healing go hand and hand with song."

Tuesday night, USC's Theatre Department rehearsed "Circle Mirror Transformation," a student-directed play set to open Thursday, Nov. 19. The play follows an adult acting class taken by four strangers (Teresa, James, Schultz and Lauren) over a six-week period. Written by Pulitzer Prize-winner Annie Baker, the play is directed by Jamie Boller, a fourth-year theatre student at USC.

The Gamecocks wrapped up the NCAA tournament on Monday
with the fourth round of play. The Gamecocks fell back from their opening score as they added 12 more strokes than Monday's total (288) and ended
the tournament with a final round 300
(+12). They also shot a 72-hole 1,187
(+35) and missed the top eight by 15 strokes.

The South Carolina Gamecocks, fighting to the last at-bat,
found themselves eliminated from the Tallahassee Regionals after a 5-2 loss to the UCF
Knights Saturday evening at JoAnne Garf Field. The Gamecocks faced the Knights after a victory against Dartmouth only a couple of hours earlier on Saturday. They paired off against one another earlier in the Regionals, resulting in a 4-1 loss for the Gamecocks.

South Carolina advanced to the second elimination game of the Tallahassee Regional with a 3-1 win over Dartmouth Saturday at JoAnne Garf Field. The Gamecocks came out focused in the first-inning, scoring two on a double by sophomore Victoria Williams and a single by sophomore Kaylea Snear. The lead grew to 3-0 in the second after Williams drilled an RBI single and allowed Alaynie Paige to come home. Strong offense and pitching were the keys for the Gamecocks as they improved to 38-21. Junior Ansley Ard and Williams both tallied hits for the Gamecocks, with Williams supplying a double for the offense. Freshman Tiara Duffy and Paige also combined for a pair of doubles.
