Poor shooting led to South Carolina’s loss in its first game of the Asheville Championship on Friday against Princeton by a final score of 66-62. The Tigers did not play in 2020-21 because of Ivy League COVID-19 restrictions, so it was the team's first win over a D1 opponent in 615 days.
