Shots were fired in the Copper Beech apartment complex late Saturday night, but a day later, little else was known.
The shots were heard by residents around midnight and Richland County sheriff’s deputies were at the complex by 12:30 a.m. Residents said deputies were patrolling the area and ordering them to stay inside their apartments.
The sheriff’s department could not provide more information about the incident when contacted Sunday evening.
