The Daily Gamecock

Letter to the Editor: Thank You

I cannot believe the lengths to which he went to discover the owner of the keys he found randomly lying in the parking garage. Who knew that my CVS card on my key ring would ever be what reunited me with my lost keys? The fact that he thought to use that mechanism to investigate shows that he is quie intelligent.

His further efforts to walk all the way from Pendleton garage to CVS to ask them to look up my information is above and beyond. When the information he was given only connected the keys to a family member, he didn't stop there. His dogged determination led him through a maze of four phone calls before he finally reached me, which is a testament to his dedication to doing the right thing.

You have no idea how stressed I was not knowing where my keys landed. He made what could have been a very bad day for me much better. It is very refreshing to come across someone of his caliber.

I know that Ken is pledging Beta Theta Pi. I took a minute to look up what this fraternity is all about, and I learned that its emphasis is on building men of principle.

I think he has chosen a perfect fit. He certainly would be a great representative for their organization, and the entire USC community should be very proud of Ken. We are fortunate to have him in the Gamecock Nation!
Best of luck to Ken here at USC and always.
