Teams to play doubleheader on Saturday
With the threat of inclement weather moving into Fayetteville, Ark., No. 2 South Carolina’s series opener against the Razorbacks was pushed back to Friday.
Since South Carolina and Arkansas were originally slated to play Friday night, the two teams will play a doubleheader, with the first pitch of game one scheduled for 4:05 p.m.
Game two will follow no earlier than 7:35 p.m., or 30 minutes after the completion of game one.
The two teams will wrap up on Saturday, with first pitch at 7 p.m.
The Gamecocks (25-3, 6-3 SEC) are currently tied for first place in the SEC and will face an Arkansas team that is coming back down to Earth after winning nine of 10 games earlier this season.
