Feb. 12

That's Amore Y'all 

Explore the historic relationships in South Carolina's past through special tours put on at the SC State Museum. The event will last from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, with $15 tickets. 

WOW Valentine's Improv Dinner 

WOW Productions is putting on a three course meal and interactive improv performance. Three acting couples will get together for a dinner, only to be exposed by one another for the secrets they are keeping. It is up to the audience to help these couples find their way happily back to one another. The event will take place on Friday starting at 7 p.m. at the WOW Performing Arts Center on Shakespeare Road. Performances will also take place on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $30 per person or $55 per couple and must be bought in advance.

Sweet on CMA 

For those who are still children at heart or families looking for a fun outing, visit the Columbia Museum of Art on Saturday afternoon to make crafts, play bean bag toss and go on scavenger hunts. The event is free and runs from 12 to 3 p.m. 

Valentine's Cinema 

Back with their annual event, Harbison Theatre will be hosting a screening of "Roman Holiday," starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. Champagne and desserts will be served before the movie at 7 p.m., and the movie will begin at 8 p.m. Enjoy some old school romance and mischief with some of film's greatest actors. Tickets are $17 and can be purchased at harbisontheatre.org.

"First Date" at Sweet Spot 

Enjoy some local art and live music at Kaminsky's from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday night. Scenario Collective, a collaboration of artists, will present and perform their art as musicians perform live during this five hour event. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door.
