March 4

Official Kick-Off to St. Pat's in Five Points

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day early and help dye the Five Points fountain green in this kick-off. Music, entertainment and face painting will be at this celebration, and attendance is free. The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m.

First Friday Lowbrow Cinema Explosion

On the first Friday of every month, the Nickelodeon has its "Lowbrow Cinema Explosion," curated by Christopher Bickel. This event starts at 11 p.m. and brings a night of vulgarity to the audience.

March 5

Saturday Night Love

Hosted by the PeekABoo PrettyGirl Foundation, Saturday Night Love is an event which celebrates love through performances of spoken word poetry, music and visual art. The event will be held at Rue 77 and will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets range from $11 to $22.

Broadway Back Together

Four Broadway stars are coming to the Harbison Theatre for a collaborative "Broadway Back Together" performance. These decorated performers are Telly Leung, Robin de Jesús, Marcus Paul James and Mandy Gonzalez — artists who boast the titles of performers in "Wicked," "Glee," "In the Heights," "Rent" and more. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $28.

March 6

The Honky Tonk Angels

Catch this play in its final performance on Sunday at the Town Theatre. "The Honky Tonk Angels" is a play about three women who ditch their ordinary lives to try and become country music stars. This show starts at 3 p.m., with tickets ranging from $15 to $25.

Arnez J

Arnez J is coming to The Comedy House to bring laughter and entertainment this weekend. Arnez J is a comedian with a notable hosting position on BET's "Comic View" show. He also has a comedy special called "Racially Motivated" that is available on Netflix. On Sunday the show will start at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $25 to $35, and you must be 18 or older to attend.
