Former American gymnast Shawn Johnson has postponed her Sept. 14 event at the University of South Carolina according to a press release from Carolina Productions on Tuesday.
“We are aware that this was one of our most anticipated events; we are working diligently to reschedule Shawn for a date later in the school year,” Carolina Productions said.
Carolina Productions urges students to follow their Twitter and Facebook for updates.
“We apologize on behalf of Shawn’s team to the students who will be disappointed,” Carolina Productions said.
Shawn Johnson is a 24-year old former Olympic athlete and gold medalist.
