A$AP Ferg will headline this year's Cockstock, Carolina Productions announced.
In a departure from previous years, student tickets will be available for $10 with the option to bring up to four guests at $20 each.
Raegan Brizek, president of Carolina Productions, said the decision resulted from student surveys and focus groups following last year's negatively received Cockstock, which was headlined by Daya and Iyaz. Students on average wanted bigger hip-hop artists, but A$AP Ferg was out of Carolina Productions' price range.
Ticketing will work the same way as claiming tickets for football games. An email will be sent to students detailing the ticketing process.
Tickets go on sale Aug. 15. Cockstock will take place during Homecoming on October 29 at Colonial Life Arena.
