Playlist of the week: Collaborations

"It takes two to make a thing go right,” Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock pointed out to listeners back in 1988. The music industry is full of talent and is thus a breeding ground for competition. That is why when talented forces work together to create something they couldn’t create on their own, it should be celebrated.

Whether it be two bands, four independent singers or three saxophone players, collaborations keep music new and exciting. This playlist highlights some collaborations throughout different eras and genres, especially in R&B and pop, where collaborations happen the most.
