Former Gamecock wide receiver Bryan Edwards was selected No. 81 overall in the NFL draft Friday night.
Edwards was picked by the Las Vegas Raiders midway through the third round.
Edwards broke multiple records during his four years at the University of South Carolina, capturing the record for most career catches and receiving yards. He holds these records despite a knee injury cutting his senior season short.
He will be joining a Raiders team that is looking for offensive weapons like Edwards to surround Derek Carr with.
