Athletics announces limited student tickets for Stone Stadium, refunds for season ticket holders

The University of South Carolina's Athletics Department announced Friday that a fixed number of student tickets will be provided for soccer games at Eugene E. Stone III Stadium.

The specific number of student tickets has not been released, but a majority of the 675 seats available will go to student-athlete and coach families. Students will receive further home ticketing information from the Department of Student Life.

Fans who purchased season tickets will be refunded and will instead have the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets on a game-by-game basis.

Women's soccer is set to start Sept. 18 and will have a conference-only, eight-match season, ending with the SEC championship from Nov. 13 to Nov. 22.

Conference USA announced on Aug. 21 that the men's soccer season will be postponed until spring, but Gamecock head coach Mark Berson is currently working on scheduling limited fall matches. Men's soccer will play longstanding rival Clemson on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m.
